LIE: Past faith failures cause current lack. TRUTH: NO condemnation in Christ. Mercies new every morning. Rom 8:1

"My anxiety keeps me up. I need to fix my thoughts before I can rest."

LIE: Fix thoughts, then rest. TRUTH: 'The peace of God... will guard your hearts and minds' (Php 4:7). Peace guards you; you don't earn peace.

"My health issues will drain whatever savings I have left."

LIE: Health issues will bankrupt me. TRUTH: God's will is I prosper in ALL things AND be in health—both (3 John 1:2).

LIE: I lack spiritual maturity. TRUTH: God gives wisdom liberally without reproach when you ask (James 1:5)

"My needs are too much for my wife to handle at this stage of life."

LIE: My needs overwhelm my wife. TRUTH: Covenant love intensifies in difficulty. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Where you die, I will die' (Ruth 1:17). You're her PA...

LIE: I'm too unestablished to lead. TRUTH: Your authority as father is GIVEN, not earned. 1 Timothy 4:12
