LIE: Hurt too much to connect. TRUTH: God restores years locusts ate—past pain doesn't predict future. Joel 2:25

"I need to just accept this and stop hoping—hope hurts too much."

LIE: Stop hoping. TRUTH: Abraham hoped against hope and became father of nations. Faith is substance of things hoped for. (Romans 4:18)

"If I give away my emergency fund, I'll have nothing when crisis hits."

LIE: Need emergency fund. TRUTH: God feeds birds without savings—you're worth more; covenant secures you. Matt 6:26

"I have to accept that older men just don't sleep through the night anymore."

LIE: Old men don't sleep through the night. TRUTH: Old men shall DREAM dreams—that requires deep sleep. Joel 2:28

"I'm not smart enough for business since this one failed."

LIE: Not smart enough. TRUTH: God chooses foolish to shame wise. Wisdom is a gift, not a grade. (1 Cor 1:27, James 1:5)

"I've been exposed to other worldviews; Christianity isn't the only way."

LIE: All paths lead to God. TRUTH: Jesus said, 'I am THE way... no one comes to the Father but by Me.' (John 14:6)

"I should have known better and now I've squandered irreplaceable time."

LIE: I knew better and wasted time. TRUTH: ALL things work for good—Romans 8:28. Even my foolishness.

"Older people don't want to hear what I have to say or teach me anything real."

LIE: Older people don't listen or invest. TRUTH: Age speaks, but the Spirit gives understanding. Paul mentored Timothy. Iron sharpens iron. Job 32:7-9

"I don't have the strength, wisdom, or capacity to handle what's ahead of me right now."

LIE: I can't handle this. TRUTH: He gives POWER to the weak and increases strength to the faint. (Isa 40:29)

"My singleness disqualifies me from spiritual leadership or being taken seriously in the church."

LIE: Singleness disqualifies from leadership. TRUTH: Paul, John the Baptist, Jesus—single men who changed the world (1 Tim 4:12).

"I should have protected us by keeping separate accounts instead of trusting him with everything."

LIE: Should have kept separate accounts. TRUTH: Protection is covenant position, not financial strategy. Eph 1:3. BARAK covers trust.

"I should have been wiser with money when I was younger."

LIE: Past mistakes ruined future. TRUTH: God does NEW thing NOW—Isaiah 43:18-19

"If I forgive the financial betrayal, I'm enabling future irresponsibility and more damage."

"My family never had wealth, so I don't know how to handle it even if it came."

LIE: I lack wealth wisdom. TRUTH: Ask God who gives wisdom LIBERALLY and WITHOUT REPROACH. It comes instantly. James 1:5

"I bought expensive stuff to fit in and now I can't afford what I actually need."

LIE: Bought stuff to fit in, now broke. TRUTH: All grace abounds for all sufficiency. Motives don't block blessing. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

"I fell behind in school this year—now I'll never be smart or get into the good classes."

LIE: Behind = not smart. TRUTH: God GIVES wisdom—ask and receive NOW (Proverbs 2:6, James 1:5)
