"I've been exposed to other worldviews; Christianity isn't the only way."
How it sounds in your head: You've read about Buddhism, Hinduism, secular humanism. They have wisdom too. Moral people exist outside Christianity. Claiming Jesus is THE only way feels arrogant and narrow. Maybe it's just one path among many. Maybe all roads lead to God.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
-- John 14:6World's pluralism demanding tolerance over truth; enemy using empathy to compromise exclusivity of Christ.
You've met kind atheists, moral Muslims, peaceful Buddhists, and the claim that they're all headed to hell feels cruel. Pluralism feels compassionate; exclusivity feels judgmental.
Cornelius was devout, prayed always, gave alms, feared God—moral and sincere—but an angel told him to send for Peter because he still needed to hear the GOSPEL. His sincerity wasn't enough; he needed JESUS, and when he heard, the Holy Spirit fell INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that all roads lead to God. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus is THE way, THE truth, THE life, and NO ONE comes to the Father except through Him. Cornelius was devout and moral, but an angel sent him to hear the GOSPEL because sincerity without Jesus isn't salvation. Other worldviews have partial truth, but only Jesus has RESURRECTION—only He defeated death. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Timothy 2:5, 'There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.' I declare: the exclusivity of Christ isn't arrogance; it's RESCUE, and the most loving thing I can do is tell the truth. The BARAK blessing flows through the Seed of Abraham, which is CHRIST, and there's no blessing outside the covenant.
The Father isn't narrow for offering one way—He's GENEROUS for offering a way at all when we deserved none. Jesus isn't one path among many; He's the Door that was opened when every other door led to death, and the invitation is to EVERYONE who will come through Him.
