"I have to accept that older men just don't sleep through the night anymore."
How it sounds in your head: Up twice, three times a night to pee. Every guy your age says the same thing. The doctor nodded knowingly—'enlarged prostate, part of getting older.' Maybe fighting it is just pride; maybe acceptance is wisdom.
"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."
-- Joel 2:28Cultural agreement with decline and 'normal aging' that contradicts God's promise of strength in latter years, presenting natural decay as inevitable and unchallengeable.
Every man at the coffee shop has the same story. Statistics back it up. Even your doctor treats it as fact. Seems foolish to expect different when the evidence is universal.
At 120 years old, Moses' eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished. No prostate issues, no age-related decline—FULL strength and health until the day he died.
I REFUSE the lie that interrupted sleep is my inevitable reality. IT IS WRITTEN that old men shall dream dreams, and you can't dream without DEEP sleep. I am not subject to 'normal aging'—I am subject to covenant promises. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and divine health flows through every gland, every organ, every system. The blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ; that blessing protected Moses' strength at 120. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 92:14 that 'they shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.' I receive supernatural sleep, uninterrupted rest, and restored strength as my birthright in Christ.
Father doesn't see you as a declining man managing symptoms—He sees you as His son with FULL access to resurrection life. He's not waiting for you to 'be realistic'; He's already released Moses-level vitality over you because that's the covenant, not the exception.
