"My energy and enthusiasm are too much for other people to handle"
How it sounds in your head: Every time I get excited about something, people roll their eyes or tell me to calm down. My friends say I'm intense. Even at home, I feel like I'm exhausting everyone just by being myself.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14Enemy whisper implanted through peer rejection and adult impatience, making him believe his God-given personality is a burden.
He's been told to 'calm down' or 'be quiet' multiple times at school and home. When he shares his excitement, he sometimes sees annoyance on faces around him, making him believe his natural energy is a problem.
David showed up at the battlefield full of questions and passion, so intense his own brother accused him of pride and said he should go home. God used that same 'too much' energy to kill Goliath while seasoned warriors watched.
I REFUSE the lie that my energy and personality are too much. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and God doesn't make mistakes. My enthusiasm is not a burden—it's a GIFT placed in me by the Father for His purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that the blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ, and that blessing doesn't just tolerate me, it CELEBRATES me. I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. The right people will be ENERGIZED by my presence, not exhausted by it. I walk in the BARAK blessing that protected and prospered my fathers even when they were imperfect. I am loved exactly as I am, RIGHT NOW.
The Father sees your energy and says 'THAT'S MY BOY!' He's not waiting for you to tone down—He's looking for places to UNLEASH you. He made you intense on purpose, for a purpose, and He's running toward you with assignments that REQUIRE that fire.
