"My body is broken and useless; God can't work through this shell"
How it sounds in your head: I'm in constant pain, can't walk, can't serve, can't do anything productive. I'm a burden. How can God use someone who can't even get out of bed? I'm just waiting to die.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9World says your value equals your productivity and physical capacity.
Every lost ability feels like lost value. Total dependence on others makes her feel worthless and invisible to God.
Crippled in both feet, hiding in fear, unable to work or contribute—David brought him to the king's table PERMANENTLY, not for what he could do, but because of covenant. He ate at the royal table for life despite total disability.
I REFUSE the lie that my broken body makes me useless! IT IS WRITTEN that His strength is made PERFECT in my weakness. I am not a burden—I am a vessel! My bed is sacred ground where His glory rests. My dependence on others is a picture of total dependence on Him. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, in my body's strength AND in its weakness. The BARAK blessing doesn't require my mobility—it requires covenant, and I am IN CHRIST!
The Father isn't waiting for you to be strong again—He's displaying His strength THROUGH your weakness right now. Like Mephibosheth, you're at the King's table not because you can serve, but because you're FAMILY. Your value was never your body; it's your position as His beloved daughter.
