How it sounds in your head: You didn't just doubt - you MOCKED Christians, argued against God, lived like He didn't exist. You burned bridges. Posted atheist stuff online. Your youth group saw you fall away. There's no coming back from public rejection.

The rebellion was intentional and visible, not just private struggle. You influenced others away from faith, and coming back feels like admitting you were wrong publicly after being so vocal against God.
The prodigal demanded his inheritance (rejected the father), blew it ALL on prostitutes (public shameful living), ended up in a pig pen (ultimate unclean rebellion). Father SAW him coming from far off, RAN to him, embraced him while he still smelled like pigs, gave him ring/robe/sandals, threw a party - FROM PIG PEN TO PARTY IN 15 MINUTES.
I REFUSE the lie that public rejection put me beyond God's reach. IT IS WRITTEN that God calls me 'backsliding CHILD' and says RETURN and I WILL HEAL. I never stopped being His child. IT IS WRITTEN that the prodigal went from pig pen to party in minutes with ZERO probation. The Father is RUNNING toward me right now, not waiting for me to clean up. My rebellion doesn't change His nature. I am Abraham's seed - the blessing was never based on my faithfulness but on COVENANT. I am welcomed home INSTANTLY.
The Father saw you coming from far off and has been watching for your return. That public rebellion you think created permanent distance is nothing - He's already running toward you, robe in hand, ready to party over your return with zero 'I told you so.'
