"If God wanted to heal me, He would have prevented the diagnosis in the first place."
How it sounds in your head: You prayed before the biopsy. You've been faithful. If God was really in this, you wouldn't be sitting in an oncologist's office right now. The fact that you're sick proves He either doesn't care or isn't powerful enough to stop it.
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
-- John 10:10Religion blames God for what the enemy does; trauma interprets circumstance as God's will.
If God is sovereign and good, sickness shouldn't touch His children. The diagnosis feels like evidence of either His absence or His indifference. Other people get healed before diagnosis—why not you?
She got sick. She died. Mourners were already weeping. Jesus didn't prevent the death—He REVERSED it. 'Talitha cumi'—little girl, arise. She got up immediately and started walking. Jesus showing up 'late' didn't mean He didn't care; it meant He was about to do something bigger.
I REFUSE the lie that my diagnosis proves God's indifference or absence. IT IS WRITTEN the thief comes to kill and Jesus comes to give abundant LIFE—this sickness is not from my Father's hand but from my enemy's attack. God didn't author this disease; He authored my HEALING at Calvary. IT IS WRITTEN by His stripes I was healed—past tense, finished work, two thousand years before my diagnosis. Jesus healed ALL who were oppressed by the devil, and that includes me. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in me, and death couldn't hold Him—this disease can't hold me. I declare resurrection life in every cell, divine health in every system, and the abundant life Jesus came to give.
The Father isn't the author of your sickness—He's the demolisher of it. He didn't prevent the diagnosis to test your faith; He allows the attack so He can demonstrate His overwhelming power to reverse what the enemy meant for death, and you'll walk out with testimony that saves thousands.
