How it sounds in your head: The counselor keeps digging into my childhood and family patterns, saying we need to find the root cause before healing can happen. It feels like an endless excavation project. What if I never find the right root and stay stuck forever?

Therapy culture emphasizes root cause analysis and she's seen progress through understanding patterns, making comprehensive knowledge seem required. She confuses helpful insight with prerequisite for healing, not realizing Jesus heals people who understand nothing about their condition.

Invalid for 38 YEARS, didn't even know who Jesus was or understand anything about his condition's root cause. Jesus asked one question 'do you want to be healed,' then said 'rise, take up your bed and walk' - IMMEDIATE healing with zero therapy or root cause analysis required.
