"God doesn't need my money—He owns everything anyway."
How it sounds in your head: At this stage of life, I barely have enough for myself. God is infinite—He doesn't need my little Social Security check. It's arrogant to think my small amount matters to the Creator of the universe.
"While you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God."
-- 2 Corinthians 9:11Enemy uses God's self-sufficiency as a weapon to rob you of partnership, making you a spectator instead of a participant in kingdom economy.
God genuinely doesn't need anything from anyone, and his monthly income genuinely is small compared to church budgets. Logic suggests his participation is irrelevant.
A poor widow gave two small copper coins, less than a penny, while wealthy people gave large amounts. Jesus said she gave MORE than all of them because she gave from relationship, not calculation—and her story has inspired billions for 2,000 years.
I REFUSE the lie that my giving is irrelevant to God's economy. IT IS WRITTEN that I am enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving to God. My participation isn't about God's need—it's about my partnership. The widow's two mites moved Jesus more than millions from the wealthy. IT IS WRITTEN that God is able to make all grace abound toward me. I am not too small, too old, or too broke to matter in God's kingdom. My generosity releases testimony, and my seed creates harvest. The BARAK blessing flows through me regardless of amount.
The Father isn't tracking your bank balance—He's RUNNING toward you with invitation to participate in miracles. Like the prodigal who had nothing to offer but received everything, you're enriched not to hoard but to flow.
