"Those healing stories are exaggerated. People made them bigger than they were."
How it sounds in your head: I've seen 'faith healers' on TV. Fake. Manipulative. Making people feel worse when nothing happens. The Bible stories probably got embellished over time, like any old story. Dead four days? Really? That sounds impossible.
"Jesus said, 'Take away the stone.' Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, 'Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.'"
-- John 11:39Skepticism born from witnessing false ministries uses counterfeit to discredit authentic, making God's word less powerful than human deception.
Television frauds have poisoned the well of supernatural faith. Her educated mind naturally questions ancient texts, and decades without witnessing undeniable miracles makes Biblical accounts seem mythological.
Born blind—no eyes to heal, missing anatomy. Jesus made eyes from dirt and spit. The Pharisees investigated, interrogated parents, couldn't deny it. The man said 'Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.' Undeniable, investigated, creative miracle.
I REFUSE the lie that Biblical miracles are exaggerated. IT IS WRITTEN: Martha said Lazarus had been dead four days and STENCH confirmed it—medical documentation, not mythology. The Gospel includes skeptics, investigations, and eyewitness testimony. Fakes on television don't negate the authentic. IT IS WRITTEN: These things are written that you might BELIEVE. I believe the documented testimony. I am a daughter of Abraham, and the God who created something from nothing creates health in my body NOW.
The Father didn't include medical details in Scripture to impress you but to convince you. While you're protecting yourself from disappointment, He's offering you the same creative power that formed eyes from mud—no process required, just presence.
