"Doctors and medicine prove we don't need divine healing."
How it sounds in your head: Why would God heal supernaturally when He's given us doctors, hospitals, and medicine? Seeking divine healing seems to reject the medical tools God provided. Modern medicine is how God heals today, not through miracles.
"If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
-- Exodus 15:26Source: Rationalistic theology that replaces supernatural intervention with natural means.
She's been taught God works 'through' medicine and that expecting miracles apart from medical intervention is presumptuous or fanatical. This makes her dependency on doctors feel spiritual rather than seeking direct divine healing.
Asa had severe foot disease and 'sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians'—he trusted doctors INSTEAD of God and died from the disease. The warning: medical means without divine reliance leads to death, but God is the ultimate healer.
I REFUSE the lie that doctors replace divine healing! IT IS WRITTEN 'I am the LORD that healeth thee'—God is my HEALER, not just a backup plan. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing includes divine health directly from the SOURCE. IT IS WRITTEN that Asa died because he sought physicians INSTEAD of the Lord—I seek GOD FIRST. I'm grateful for medical tools, but I don't worship them—I worship JEHOVAH RAPHA. I receive supernatural, miraculous, instant healing that bypasses every natural process. God heals me HIMSELF, right NOW!
The Father isn't waiting for you to exhaust medical options before He runs to you—He's sprinting toward you right now with healing in His very NATURE. While you're still trusting lab results, He's throwing the party of your miraculous breakthrough, touching you with Jehovah Rapha's hand.
