"If healing was real, every Christian would be healthy. But they're not, so it must not work."
How it sounds in your head: I see Christians at church who are sick, struggling, even dying. If healing was guaranteed, why are believers suffering? The evidence doesn't match the promise.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."
-- Hosea 4:6Source: Enemy using broken theology and unrenewed minds of believers as 'proof' that God's promises don't work.
The empirical evidence around me seems to contradict healing promises. Christians I respect are sick, so either the promises aren't true or there's something I'm missing.
Ten men with incurable, isolating disease cried out to Jesus. All ten were healed AS THEY WENT—instant physical restoration. But only ONE came back with gratitude and was told 'your faith has made you well'—suggesting a deeper wholeness beyond physical healing that only he received because only he returned.
I REFUSE the lie that healing doesn't work because not everyone is healed. IT IS WRITTEN that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, not lack of His power. Many don't know what belongs to them through covenant. I choose to KNOW my inheritance. The BARAK blessing includes divine health, and that blessing worked even when Abraham lied and Jacob deceived. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I was healed. The provision is finished. I don't judge God's promises by others' unbelief—I stand on the Word regardless of what I see around me. Truth isn't determined by results; results change when I believe truth.
The Father isn't holding back because some believers don't walk in healing. He's the same Dad who had the fattened calf ready before the prodigal even turned toward home. He's prepared healing for you, not based on others' faith levels, but based on His finished work. Your breakthrough doesn't depend on anyone else's experience—it depends on HIS faithfulness.
