"Those healing testimonies are exaggerated or psychosomatic, not actual miracles."
How it sounds in your head: I want to believe, but people get caught up in emotion and call anything a miracle. That girl probably didn't really have endometriosis. That guy's tumor was probably shrinking anyway. I need to be rational and not get swept up in hype.
"He answered and said, 'Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.'"
-- John 9:25Source: Western rationalism and religious skepticism masquerading as wisdom to protect from disappointment.
She's seen people claim healing then still be sick, watched documentaries exposing faith healer fraud, and her science classes taught her to question everything supernatural. Skepticism feels intellectually honest.
Born blind—not sick, not injured, born without sight from his mother's womb. Jesus spit in dirt, made mud, put it on his eyes and told him to wash. He came back SEEING for the first time in his life, instantly and completely.
I REFUSE the lie that healing testimonies are exaggerated or fake. IT IS WRITTEN: John 9:25 - Though I was blind, now I see. I don't need to understand the medical mechanism to receive supernatural healing. God's power doesn't require my intellectual approval. I am under the BARAK covenant blessing where God does impossible things. IT IS WRITTEN: Mark 10:27 - With God all things are possible. My rational mind bows to His supernatural reality. I receive and celebrate every testimony of His goodness.
Your Father isn't offended by your questions, but He's not limited by your ability to explain Him either. While you're analyzing testimonies, He's ready to give you an undeniable one of your own that makes skeptics irrelevant.
