"This fibromyalgia is punishment for sins I haven't fully confessed or repented of yet."
How it sounds in your head: There must be hidden sin. Something you did decades ago that you forgot about. God is holy and just—He can't heal you while there's unconfessed sin. You need to search your heart, dig through your past, confess everything before healing can come.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Old Covenant conditional forgiveness applied post-cross; works-based righteousness requiring perfect confession inventory.
Pain that won't go away feels like punishment, and preachers say 'search your heart' as if healing is locked behind perfect repentance. You ransack memories trying to find what you missed confessing.
Four friends brought a paralyzed man to Jesus, tore up someone's ROOF to get to Him. Jesus saw their faith and said to the paralytic, 'Son, your sins are FORGIVEN.' Then immediately, 'Rise, take up your bed and walk.' Forgiveness and healing came in ONE MOMENT—no confession inventory, no penance period, instant grace.
I REFUSE the lie that hidden sin blocks my healing. IT IS WRITTEN that He has forgiven me ALL trespasses, nailing every charge to the cross. The blood of Jesus cleanses me from ALL unrighteousness—past, present, forgotten, remembered. IT IS WRITTEN that as far as east is from west, He has removed my transgressions. Under the New Covenant, He remembers my sins NO MORE. I don't earn healing through perfect confession—I receive it through finished work. I am Abraham's seed, blessed by PROMISE, and the BARAK protected liars and deceivers. How much more does Jesus' blood cover me? I am the forgiven, the cleansed, the healed—fibromyalgia has no legal right to punish what Jesus already paid for.
The Father isn't waiting for you to dig up every sin from 1987—He's already declared you FORGIVEN based on Jesus' blood. The paralyzed man didn't confess his way to healing; Jesus spoke forgiveness and healing in one breath. Right now, the Father is saying 'Daughter, your sins are forgiven—rise and walk.'
