"Satan is too strong for me to overcome these attacks"
How it sounds in your head: He keeps hitting me with the same temptations and I keep falling. My brain is wired wrong now from what I've seen. He's too powerful and I'm just a kid.
"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
-- 1 John 4:4Enemy magnifying his own power while hiding the believer's covenant authority in Christ.
The pull of pornography or anger feels overwhelming and biological. Satan's attacks feel louder than God's voice, especially when hormones rage.
A teenage boy with zero military training faced a nine-foot giant who'd been killing men for decades. David ran toward him with a rock and the giant was dead in seconds—everyone else saw the giant, David saw the covenant.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan is too strong. IT IS WRITTEN that greater is He in me than he that is in the world. The Holy Spirit living inside me is infinitely more powerful than any demon or temptation. I am not fighting with my own strength—I fight with resurrection power. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. My age doesn't limit God's power. My past doesn't limit God's power. I am a covenant son with Abraham's blessing—protected, empowered, victorious. The enemy is already defeated and I enforce that defeat.
The Father isn't asking you to be stronger—He placed Someone stronger INSIDE you. You're not weak trying to get strong; you're already housing Omnipotence in a teenage body.
