"The enemy has more influence over my family now than God does."
How it sounds in your head: You see your children and grandchildren making choices that break your heart—rejecting faith, embracing worldly values, walking away from everything you taught them. You pray but nothing seems to change. The enemy's influence seems obvious and powerful while God seems silent. You're terrified you'll die watching your legacy choose darkness.
"So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'"
-- Acts 16:31Enemy magnifying visible rebellion while hiding invisible faithfulness of God working beneath surface.
The rebellion and worldliness are visible and painful, while God's work is often invisible and slow. Your declining influence as you age contrasts with the enemy's apparent grip on your family, making it feel like you're losing them forever.
A prostitute living in pagan city marked for total destruction, her entire family practicing idolatry and surrounded by wickedness. Because SHE believed and acted in faith, her ENTIRE FAMILY was saved—parents, siblings, all relatives spared when the rest of the city was destroyed, and she became part of the Messianic line.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy has more influence over my family than God. IT IS WRITTEN: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD. My faith creates covenant covering over my entire family—they are not beyond God's reach. IT IS WRITTEN: The promise is to you and to your children and to all who are afar off. Rahab's faith saved her ENTIRE FAMILY from destruction—my faith in a BETTER covenant covers my bloodline. The BARAK blessing that protected Abraham's household, that gave Jacob favor even when his sons were MURDERERS, covers MY family. God's influence is GREATER, His covenant is SURE, and my household WILL be saved.
The Father isn't waiting for your family to get it right—He's working beneath the surface in ways you can't see, and your covenant faith creates a shield over them whether they know it or not. Like the Prodigal's father who kept watching the road, your Father is pursuing your children with the same relentless grace that pursued you, and He WILL bring them home.
