"The dementia is winning. The fear is winning. The enemy has me trapped in this body and mind."
How it sounds in your head: Every forgotten name feels like Satan's victory. Every pill I need, every doctor visit, every moment of confusion—the enemy is stealing my mind and I can't stop him. I'm losing this battle inch by inch.
"Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."
-- Colossians 2:15Enemy whisper: God has abandoned you to deterioration and the devil is finishing you off.
The medical diagnoses keep coming and each one feels like another demon winning territory. When memory fails or body rebels, it looks like Satan has more power than the cross.
A man so demonized he lived naked in tombs, cut himself with stones, broke chains—tormented by a LEGION (thousands) of demons for years. One encounter with Jesus and IMMEDIATELY he was clothed, in his right mind, sitting peacefully—complete restoration in moments.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy is winning any battle over my life. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus disarmed ALL principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them. The battle was won at Calvary—Satan is a defeated foe with NO authority over me. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places FAR ABOVE all principality and power. My body's limitations do not indicate Satan's victory—they indicate my need for the Father's embrace. IT IS WRITTEN that greater is He in me than he that is in the world. I declare the BARAK blessing over my mind—the same covenant protection that shielded Abraham's descendants even in their worst sins shields me in Christ's better covenant. The enemy is not winning—he's ALREADY LOST.
The Father isn't keeping score of what you're losing—He's holding what CANNOT be lost: your identity as His beloved daughter. While you fear the enemy gaining ground, Jesus reminds you the ground was TAKEN at the cross, and your name is engraved on His hands where no dementia can erase it.
