"Proverbs 13:11 proves wealth must be gathered little by little. Fast wealth is dishonest."
How it sounds in your head: The Bible itself says 'wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.' That's Scripture against instant provision. God's way is slow, steady, faithful accumulation. Fast wealth is a lottery mentality.
"The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."
-- Proverbs 10:22Source: religion isolating one Proverb while ignoring the entire biblical pattern of instant, supernatural provision, making gradual accumulation the idol.
It's literally in the Bible. Proverbs is wisdom literature. You've built your whole financial life on steady, gradual growth. Instant provision feels like it contradicts this verse, so you've rejected it as unbiblical.
Peter needed tax money immediately and had none. Jesus didn't tell him to budget or save gradually. He sent him to catch one fish, which had the exact coin needed in its mouth. Instant, supernatural, zero human accumulation—just obedience and provision.
I REFUSE the lie that Proverbs 13:11 cancels supernatural provision. IT IS WRITTEN that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. IT IS WRITTEN that God gave Israel Egypt's wealth in one night, doubled Job's fortune in one day, and filled the widow's house with oil in one afternoon. Proverbs 13:11 warns against DISHONEST schemes, not against GOD'S sudden blessing. I honor wisdom AND supernatural intervention. My provision comes from the blessing, not from my timeline. The same God who put a coin in a fish's mouth can bring my breakthrough in a moment.
Your Father isn't offended that you want breakthrough now instead of in seven years. He's the God of suddenly—who turned a rod into a snake, water into wine, five loaves into five thousand meals. He's not waiting for you to grind longer. He's waiting for you to expect His goodness NOW.
