"God might heal my body, but expecting financial breakthrough this late is presumptuous."
How it sounds in your head: I pray for healing because that's acceptable, but asking for money feels greedy at my age. I should be content with what I have. Spiritual blessings are what matter now—I'm about to meet Him anyway.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious hierarchy teaching that spiritual blessings are higher/acceptable while material provision is lower/suspect.
Church culture celebrates healing testimonies but side-eyes financial breakthrough stories as potentially carnal. Proximity to death makes material concerns feel shallow compared to eternity.
After losing everything, God restored Job's health AND gave him DOUBLE his former wealth in a single divine act—14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 oxen, 1,000 donkeys—simultaneous physical and financial restoration proving God separates neither.
I REFUSE the lie that asking for financial provision while sick is greedy or unspiritual. IT IS WRITTEN that God desires I prosper in ALL THINGS and be in health—not either/or, BOTH simultaneously. The religious hierarchy that ranks blessings is a LIE; my Father gives GOOD gifts without categorizing them into acceptable and carnal. IT IS WRITTEN that the BARAK blessing covers body AND bank account, health AND harvest. I am Job after the trial—receiving DOUBLE in every area, physical and financial restoration in one move. I expect and receive BOTH because that's covenant.
Your Father isn't rationing blessings like a budget-strapped social program—He's the Father who gives the ring AND the robe AND the sandals AND the feast. He's healing your body while filling your account because He doesn't see them as separate categories; He just sees His beloved son receiving everything he needs.
