Too Much
"My physical limitations make me too high-maintenance for social events and travel."

How it sounds in your head: I need the bathroom close, can't handle long walks, need specific food for my conditions, tire easily. Planning around my needs complicates everything. People would have more fun without me slowing them down.

Exodus 4:10-11

"Then Moses said to the LORD, 'O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.' So the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?'"

-- Exodus 4:10-11
Enemy whispers: 'Your limitations make you high-maintenance.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Exodus 4:11 - God told Moses 'Who makes the mute, deaf, seeing, or blind? Have not I, the LORD?' God OWNS your limitations and doesn't see them as defects—He sees them as DESIGN for His glory. IT IS WRITTEN in 2 Corinthians 12:9, 'My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Your physical limitations aren't disqualifying you from community—they're REVEALING who genuinely loves you for YOU, not your performance. The BARAK of Abraham covers your NEEDS, not just your abilities. People worth having in your life will GLADLY accommodate because covenant values people over convenience.
Quick Truth: LIE: My limitations make me high-maintenance. TRUTH: God OWNS your limitations. IT IS WRITTEN: 'My strength perfected in weakness' (2 Cor 12:9).

Shame from culture that values speed and convenience over people, attacking covenant community values.

Why this feels true:

Your limitations ARE real, planning DOES require more accommodation, and you've genuinely seen frustration when activities need adjustment for your needs. Independence was your strength, and needing accommodations feels like being a burden.

2 Samuel 9:6-13
Mephibosheth

Mephibosheth was crippled in both feet, unable to walk normally, and assumed he'd live hidden and forgotten. Instead, King David SOUGHT him out, brought him to the palace, and gave him a PERMANENT seat at the king's table 'as one of the king's sons'—daily accommodation for his limitations wasn't burden, it was HONOR restored.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my physical limitations make me high-maintenance or too much for others. IT IS WRITTEN that God MAKES the deaf, mute, blind, and lame, and He owns my limitations as part of His design for His glory. My needs are NOT burdens—they're OPPORTUNITIES for others to demonstrate covenant love and for God's strength to be perfected in my weakness. The BARAK of Abraham over my life covers my LIMITATIONS as much as my abilities. IT IS WRITTEN that I have a seat at the King's table like Mephibosheth, and my Father GLADLY accommodates every need because He values ME, not my performance. I am NOT too much. I am EXACTLY who God created me to be in this season, and the right people will HONOR my presence regardless of accommodations required.

But God actually:

The Father is running toward you with divine CONNECTIONS to people who will consider accommodating your needs a PRIVILEGE, not a burden, and He's about to remove from your life anyone who treats you like an inconvenience. He's preparing travel, events, and experiences specifically DESIGNED for this season of your life that will be MORE ENJOYABLE than anything you did when you were 'able-bodied.'
