Her period literally involves blood, pain, inconvenience, and secrecy. Culture and even many churches have taught shame around menstruation, calling it 'the curse,' making her feel her female body is inherently problematic rather than designed by a loving Father.
This woman bled for 12 YEARS—considered unclean, untouchable, isolated by religious law. The moment she touched Jesus' garment, she was INSTANTLY healed, and Jesus called her 'DAUGHTER'—not unclean, not cursed, but DAUGHTER. Her female biology didn't make her less; it made her a testimony of His power.
I REFUSE the lie that my period makes me gross, limited, or cursed. IT IS WRITTEN that I am created in the IMAGE OF GOD—male and female He created them and called it VERY GOOD. My female body, including my cycle, is fearfully and wonderfully made, part of Father's intentional design. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed me from the curse—what remains is BLESSING, not shame. My body is not a problem to manage; it's the temple of the Holy Spirit. I am not limited by my biology—I am EMPOWERED by it. I carry the blessing of Abraham, blessed in my body, blessed in every function Father designed. I am DAUGHTER, not defective.
Your Father doesn't see your period as gross or problematic—He sees it as part of His wonderful design for you as His daughter. He's running toward you saying 'You are fearfully and wonderfully made, every part of you is GOOD, you are whole and perfect in My sight,' celebrating the female body He created with such intentional love.
