"My joint pain means I can't play sports or be active—I'm limited forever."
How it sounds in your head: My knees and ankles hurt when I run or play. The coach says I might need to 'take it easy' and maybe sports aren't for me. Am I going to be the girl who sits on the sidelines while everyone else plays? Will I always be too weak or in pain to be athletic?
"Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'"
-- Joel 3:10Spirit of limitation speaking through authority figures, creating identity as 'fragile' or 'not athletic' during formative years of physical confidence.
Adults in coaching or medical positions have spoken limitation over her, and the pain reinforces it. At an age when peer activities define social belonging, being sidelined feels like permanent exile from normalcy.
He was lame from BIRTH—never walked a single step, begged for survival, joints and ankles had never worked. Peter pulled him up, and IMMEDIATELY his feet and ankles received strength—he jumped up, walked, leaped, and praised God—from lifelong paralysis to JUMPING in one instant.
I REFUSE the lie that my joints limit me! IT IS WRITTEN: 'Let the weak say I am strong,' and I DECLARE I AM STRONG! My knees, ankles, and every joint are filled with resurrection power! I am NOT fragile, NOT sidelined, NOT limited! IT IS WRITTEN that I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me—that includes every sport, every activity, every physical dream! I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing makes me the HEAD and not the tail—I lead on the field, not on the bench! I receive INSTANT strength in every joint RIGHT NOW because Jesus' body was broken so mine could be WHOLE!
Your Father doesn't see you on the sidelines—He sees you running, leaping, playing with absolute freedom and JOY. He created your body for MOVEMENT, and He's already placed strength in joints that haven't even finished growing yet. He's cheering you on, not benching you.
