"Pain management is the only realistic option. Expecting total healing is naive."
How it sounds in your head: Be realistic. You're a grown man—you deal with reality, not fairy tales. Pain management is what mature people do. Expecting a miracle is for the desperate and gullible. You need to be practical.
"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
-- 2 Corinthians 1:20World's 'realism' that calls God's Word naive, training you to trust medical limitations more than biblical promises.
Everyone around you—doctors, family, even Christians—talks about 'managing' pain, not eliminating it. To expect total healing feels foolish, like you're denying reality and setting yourself up for disappointment. Pragmatism feels wiser than faith.
Born blind—never seen anything, medically impossible, no surgical fix. Jesus put mud on his eyes and told him to wash. The man washed and came back SEEING. Born blind to seeing in one afternoon—not years of vision therapy, INSTANT total restoration.
I REFUSE the lie that pain management is the best option. IT IS WRITTEN that ALL God's promises are YES and AMEN in Christ, and 'by His stripes I was healed' is one of those promises. I don't bow to medical realism—I stand on biblical promises. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL manner of sickness and ALL manner of disease. I am Abraham's seed, blessed with the BARAK blessing that makes me the head and not the tail, blessed in my body. I am not naive for believing God's Word—I'd be foolish to doubt it. I receive TOTAL healing NOW.
Your Father doesn't roll His eyes at your expectation of total healing. He's delighted you're asking for what His Son already purchased. He's running toward you with complete restoration, not a management plan, saying 'Finally—someone who believes I'm actually GOOD.'
