THE LIE Pain as Permanent

"This pain is punishment for past sins I haven't fully dealt with yet."

How it sounds in your head: I know what I did in college. The drinking, the girls, the choices I'm ashamed of now. Maybe God forgave me, but consequences remain. This pain is the bill coming due.

IT IS WRITTEN Colossians 2:13-14

"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

Enemy whispers: 'You're paying for your past.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Colossians 2:14 - He WIPED OUT the handwriting against you, nailed it to the cross. Not managed it. Not reduced your sentence. WIPED OUT. All trespasses—past, present, future—forgiven. There's no divine billing department sending pain invoices for college sins. Jesus paid it ALL. Your debt certificate was DESTROYED, not filed for later collection.

I REFUSE the lie that this pain is divine payback. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus wiped out ALL requirements against me and nailed them to the cross. My past doesn't have billing rights to my present. IT IS WRITTEN in Colossians 2:13 that I am ALIVE in Christ, forgiven of ALL trespasses—not most, ALL. The BARAK blessing covered Abraham when he LIED to kings—twice—and he left RICHER. I'm in better covenant. Pain, you have no legal claim. Debt canceled. Case closed. I walk in FULL forgiveness NOW.
