"My exhaustion is just part of getting older. I need to accept this is my new normal."
How it sounds in your head: Your best years are behind you. Even at 17, you've peaked and it's downhill from here. Your body's breaking down early. This is just reality—accept it and lower your expectations for life.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day."
-- 2 Corinthians 4:16Enemy resignation: 'This is just how it is. Biology. Genetics. Reality. God won't override natural law for you.'
You feel older than your dad. You see kids younger than you with more energy. It seems like a physical reality you can't change—like fighting gravity. Acceptance feels like wisdom.
At 85 years old, Caleb said 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength.' He didn't decline—he MAINTAINED supernatural strength for 45 years and asked for the HARDEST territory to conquer.
I REFUSE the lie that exhaustion is my new normal. IT IS WRITTEN: my inward man is being RENEWED day by day—not declining, RENEWING. I am not subject to 'natural aging'—I am IN CHRIST where natural law bows to covenant reality. The BARAK blessing that made 85-year-old Caleb strong as a young warrior is MINE through Christ's blood. IT IS WRITTEN: the Lord will command the blessing on my storehouses. My body is HIS storehouse, and He commands BLESSING on it, not decay.
The Father doesn't look at your tiredness and say 'Well, that's just life.' He looks at you and sees His son—perfect, complete, connected to resurrection power. He's running toward you with the robe of renewed strength, not to 'fix' you but to CELEBRATE you.
