"If I had more faith or prayed better, I wouldn't be this tired all the time."
How it sounds in your head: You're doing something wrong. Other Christians seem fine. Maybe you're not praying right, reading your Bible enough, or believing hard enough. Your exhaustion is proof your faith is broken.
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
-- Hebrews 4:16Religious condemnation: 'Your tiredness is spiritual failure. If you were right with God, you'd be energized.'
You've heard testimonies of people healed, delivered, energized. Why not you? It must be something you're doing wrong—some sin you forgot, some lack of faith. The exhaustion feels like divine punishment.
She was lying in bed with a fever, unable to do anything. Jesus touched her hand, the fever LEFT IMMEDIATELY, and she got up and served them. She didn't pray harder or prove her faith—Jesus just showed up and touched her.
I REFUSE the lie that my exhaustion is proof of weak faith. IT IS WRITTEN: I come BOLDLY to the throne of grace and FIND help—not earn it, not qualify for it, but FIND it because it's already there. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. There is NO CONDEMNATION for me. The BARAK blessing doesn't depend on my prayer quality—Abraham the LIAR was still blessed. IT IS WRITTEN: by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work. My breakthrough isn't about my faith performance—it's about HIS finished work.
Your Father isn't grading your prayers or checking your faith level. He's running toward you while you're still far off, exhausted and broken. The prodigal didn't 'pray right'—he just came home. And the Father threw the party immediately. THAT'S who He is.
