"My body is old and broken—it's too late for God to restore it now."
How it sounds in your head: I've been sick so long. My body has deteriorated past the point of repair. Maybe God could have healed me at 60, but now? At 94? With organs failing and bones brittle? There's nothing left to work with.
"God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did."
-- Romans 4:17The enemy used natural aging and medical prognosis to convince her God's power has limits.
Doctors have given up, saying her body is 'too far gone,' and the physical evidence seems to confirm it. Decades of decline make instant restoration feel impossible.
Sarah was 90 years old, decades past menopause, with a womb the Bible calls 'dead.' Abraham was 100, body 'already dead.' God didn't need young, fertile bodies—He gave them a baby from DEATH. Nothing is too hard for the Lord.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is too broken for restoration. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives LIFE TO THE DEAD and calls things that don't exist as though they did—He doesn't need 'something to work with.' Sarah's womb was DEAD at 90, and God gave her a baby. Lazarus was decomposing, and Jesus called him OUT. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing is impossible with God—not my age, not my diagnosis, NOTHING. I am Abraham's seed, and the same God who made Sarah's dead body LIVE is the God who lives IN me. The BARAK blessing doesn't see my age—it sees the COVENANT.
Your Father isn't looking at your medical chart deciding if there's enough left to work with—He's the God who creates from NOTHING. He didn't need Sarah's body to cooperate; He made a dead womb LIVE. He's not limited by your deterioration—He's the Resurrection and the Life.
