"Jesus healed everyone instantly, so needing ongoing medication proves something is blocking my healing."
How it sounds in your head: I see Jesus healing people in the Bible with a word or touch, but I've been on medication for months or years. Something must be wrong with me spiritually—unconfessed sin, lack of faith, or some blockage preventing my breakthrough.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.'"
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Source: Teaching that instant healing is only biblical model, creating shame around ongoing medical needs.
The Bible stories are dramatic and immediate, making your slower journey with medication feel less spiritual. You wonder what's blocking your miracle and if God is withholding healing because of something you've done or haven't done.
Jesus touched a blind man who was healed gradually—first seeing people like trees walking, then clearly after a second touch. Even in Jesus' hands, this healing happened in STAGES, not instantly. Progressive healing is biblical and doesn't indicate faith problems.
I REFUSE the lie that medication means blocked healing. IT IS WRITTEN that God's grace is sufficient and His strength is perfect in my weakness, including through medical support. Some biblical healings happened in stages, proving gradual healing is God's method too. IT IS WRITTEN that Paul lived with his thorn and God's grace sustained him. My medication is part of God's grace carrying me daily. The BARAK blessing includes sustained health and provision for ongoing needs. I am blessed with access to medicine that helps me thrive while I walk in wholeness. Nothing blocks God's love from reaching me through medical care.
Your Father isn't withholding instant healing because of your performance—He's walking with you daily, providing medication as a gift of His presence and care. He's not disappointed in your timeline; He's sustaining you with grace every single day through the medicine that helps you function.
