"I'm too high-maintenance with my health needs and limitations now"
How it sounds in your head: I need help with things I used to do easily. My medications, my appointments, my restrictions—I'm exhausting to plan around.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Enemy using physical limitations to attack identity and worth, equating independence with value.
You've seen family members rearrange schedules for your doctor visits, noticed friends choose easier companions for trips, felt the burden of explaining your dietary needs. The culture worships self-sufficiency and your body no longer cooperates.
A man so unable to move that four friends had to carry him on a mat, tear apart someone's roof, and lower him down to Jesus. His complete dependence on others didn't disqualify him—it positioned him for the miracle that proved Jesus' authority to forgive sins and heal bodies simultaneously.
I REFUSE the lie that my health needs make me too much. IT IS WRITTEN that His strength is made PERFECT in weakness—my limitations are the exact place Christ's power rests on me. I am not high-maintenance—I am the DISPLAY of supernatural strength. IT IS WRITTEN that the paralyzed man's complete dependence on four friends positioned him for the miracle that proved Jesus' authority. My physical needs create opportunities for the BARAK blessing of divine strength to be showcased through human weakness.
The Father is running toward you saying, 'Your limitations don't limit My love—they showcase My strength.' He's surrounding you with friends like the paralytic had—people who'll tear apart roofs to get you to breakthrough.
