"I'm God's failure—He invested in me and I've produced nothing of value."
How it sounds in your head: God gave you gifts, talents, opportunities, resources. What have you done with them? Nothing significant. Nothing lasting. You're the servant who buried the talent. God expected a return on His investment, and you've delivered nothing but excuses and mediocrity.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

You genuinely feel like you've squandered potential. Gifts unused. Dreams deferred. Time wasted. It feels like God made a bad investment when He chose you.
Elijah just won the greatest spiritual victory on Mount Carmel, then ran away, sat under a tree, and prayed to DIE, saying he was a complete failure. God didn't rebuke him—He FED him, let him rest, then IMMEDIATELY gave him his next assignment. From suicidal depression to fresh commission in days.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm God's failure. IT IS WRITTEN that I am HIS WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus for good works HE PREPARED. I am not the investor—I am the artwork. My value isn't in what I've produced—it's in whose I am. IT IS WRITTEN that the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE. He doesn't regret creating me. He doesn't see wasted investment—He sees a son He delights in, a masterpiece still being revealed. I am a branch connected to the Vine, and fruit comes from ABIDING, not striving to prove my worth.
Your Father isn't tallying what you've produced or haven't produced. He's enjoying the process of crafting you into exactly who He dreamed you'd be. You're not His failure—you're His beloved project, and He never abandons what He loves.
