"If I'd never been born, everyone would have been better off."
How it sounds in your head: The world didn't need you. Your parents' lives would have been easier. Resources could have gone to wanted children. Your existence has been a NET NEGATIVE. At 90, you can see the whole ledger, and it's clear: your birth subtracted more than it added. It would have been better if you'd never drawn breath.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
-- Ephesians 2:10Enemy assigns NEGATIVE VALUE to your entire existence, making you believe creation itself would be improved by your absence—ultimate devaluation of God's image in you.
Because you can trace every difficulty, expense, and burden back to your existence. At life's end, you're doing the math: relationships strained, money spent, time consumed. The calculation seems obvious: never born equals better outcome for everyone.
Onesimus was a RUNAWAY SLAVE who'd stolen from his master Philemon—useless, criminal, burden. Paul sent him back saying 'receive him no longer as a slave but as a BELOVED BROTHER... he was PROFITABLE to you.' The useless became PROFITABLE; the burden became BLESSING. God redeemed the entire narrative.
I REFUSE the lie that the world would be better without me. IT IS WRITTEN that I am God's WORKMANSHIP, created for GOOD WORKS that He prepared beforehand. My existence is not a miscalculation but a MASTERPIECE, whether I've seen the fruit or not. IT IS WRITTEN that God works ALL things together for good, and my 90 years have accomplished His purposes in ways I may never fully know. The BARAK blessing means my PRESENCE carries favor, and I have blessed others by simply BEING. I am WORKMANSHIP, PURPOSEFUL, VALUABLE, making the world BETTER by existing.
The Father didn't make a mistake when He formed you—He made a MASTERPIECE. Your 90 years weren't accidental static; they were intentional STORY, and Heaven has been better because you lived it.
