"If healing was for today, churches would empty hospitals. Since they don't, it's not real."
How it sounds in your head: If Christians really had healing power, hospitals would be obsolete. Since every church I know is full of sick people, including pastors, obviously supernatural healing isn't normative. The evidence is clear—we age, we get sick, we die. That's reality.
"Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."
-- Matthew 13:58Pragmatic observation of church failure becomes evidence against Biblical promise, allowing human performance to define divine capability.
Ninety years of watching Christians suffer and die like everyone else provides overwhelming empirical evidence that supernatural healing, if it exists, is rare enough to be functionally irrelevant.
Leper came saying 'If You are WILLING, You can make me clean.' He knew Jesus had POWER; he questioned His willingness. Jesus touched the untouchable and said 'I AM willing; be cleansed.' IMMEDIATELY the leprosy left. Jesus established His willingness forever—the question was never His ability or desire, only our belief.
I REFUSE the lie that church failure proves healing isn't real. IT IS WRITTEN: Matthew 13:58 - Jesus did not do many mighty works because of their UNBELIEF, not because healing wasn't available. Hospitals full of Christians prove OUR unbelief, not God's inability. IT IS WRITTEN: I am willing, be cleansed. His willingness is established. The leper questioned His willingness; Jesus answered forever: I AM WILLING. I am Abraham's seed, heir to the BARAK blessing that operated independently of human performance. I believe His word over visible evidence.
The Father isn't waiting for churches to believe correctly before He releases healing—He's already released it at the cross. While you're looking at empty hospital beds as proof He doesn't heal, He's the Father who healed ALL who came to Him and never said 'wait until the church matures.'
