"If God was real, the church wouldn't be full of such broken hypocrites."
How it sounds in your head: The deacon who taught your kids is getting divorced. The worship leader who 'ministered in His presence' was cheating on his wife. The pastor who preached holiness was addicted to porn. If this is God's people, what's the point?
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."
-- 2 Corinthians 4:7Source: Logical deduction based on real observation, twisted by enemy to equate human failure with God's absence.
The evidence is overwhelming—not rumors, but FACTS. You've seen the private lives behind the public praise. The gap between Sunday and Monday is Grand Canyon-sized. The hypocrisy is measurable.
Peter DENIED Jesus three times—cursing, swearing he didn't know Him. Total hypocrisy from the 'rock.' Yet Jesus restored him INSTANTLY on the beach, gave him the keys to the kingdom, and Peter preached Pentecost. The most hypocritical failure became the foundation of the early church.
I REFUSE the lie that human failure disproves God's reality. IT IS WRITTEN that we are earthen vessels carrying treasure—the cracks PROVE it's not our power but His. Their hypocrisy reveals human weakness, not God's absence. IT IS WRITTEN that while we were STILL SINNERS, Christ died for us—He didn't wait for perfection. Peter denied Him and became a pillar. Paul murdered Christians and wrote half the New Testament. The BARAK blessing covered liars, deceivers, murderers, adulterers in the OLD covenant—how much MORE does grace cover the broken in the NEW? I declare God is REAL, His power is PRESENT, and He specializes in using broken people to display His excellence.
The Father is whispering, 'Their brokenness is exactly WHY I came—not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. I'm not surprised by human failure; I'm moved by human humility. The treasure shines BRIGHTEST in cracked jars.' He's inviting you into a family of recovering hypocrites who've discovered scandalous grace.
