"I should prepare to die because this condition is medically hopeless."
How it sounds in your head: The survival rate is 2%. Everyone with this diagnosis dies within months. I need to be practical—make a will, say goodbyes, get my affairs in order. Maybe God will heal me, but probably not. I should accept reality instead of being delusional about miraculous healing.
"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD."

Statistics don't lie, and she's seen others with this diagnosis die. The pressure to be 'realistic' and not disappoint herself or others with false hope feels responsible and mature.
The boy was not sick—he was DEAD. No pulse, no breath, body cold. Elisha stretched himself on the dead child twice, and the boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes—instant resurrection from complete death, not just healing from illness.
I REFUSE the lie that I should prepare to die. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall not die but LIVE and declare the works of the Lord. Death has no legal right to me because Jesus destroyed him who had the power of death. I am covered by the BARAK blessing that protected Judah even after murder, that shielded Jacob even after deception. IT IS WRITTEN that no plague comes near my dwelling, that He satisfies me with LONG life. My days are numbered by Heaven, not by a hospital. I have destiny to fulfill, and I WILL live to see it completed.
The Father isn't asking you to muster faith or prove you deserve more time. He's already given you abundant life through Jesus—it's a finished gift. While you're calculating odds, He's celebrating the testimony you'll carry of His goodness that defies every statistic.
