"The doctor's diagnosis is the final word on my body and future"
How it sounds in your head: The MRI doesn't lie. The specialist has 30 years experience. Medical science has spoken and there's no appeal. I need to be realistic and accept what's coming. Hope is just denial at this point.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
-- Jeremiah 32:27Enemy exalts human authority above God's creative authority to override what He created
Medical training is rigorous, and doctors deal with bodies all day—they know what they're seeing. His provider identity makes him trust expertise and data, and denying medical reality feels irresponsible to his family.
Isaiah the prophet told Hezekiah 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live'—God's own prophet gave a death sentence. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed, and before Isaiah left the courtyard, God sent him BACK with 15 more years of life.
I REFUSE the lie that any human authority has the final word over what God created. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing is too hard for the Lord—He formed every cell, every organ, every system in my body and He can reform them by His Word. The same voice that said 'Let there be light' now speaks LIFE over my diagnosis. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work, covenant promise. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to promise, and the BARAK blessing protects my body as it protected Jacob from Laban's schemes and David from Saul's spear. My flesh answers to my Father's voice, not a prognosis.
Your Father is running toward you with the MRI results in one hand and His covenant promise in the other, and He's ripping up the diagnosis before your eyes. He's declaring over you what He declared over Hezekiah—'I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears, and I WILL heal you'—because His nature doesn't change with medical opinions.
