"I need to lose weight before God can use me or my wife finds me attractive."

How it sounds in your head: You avoid intimacy because you're embarrassed by your body. You hold back from opportunities because you think people won't respect someone who looks like you. You're waiting to lose 30 pounds before really living your life.

IT IS WRITTEN Exodus 4:10-12

"Then Moses said to the LORD, 'O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.' So the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.'"

Enemy whispers: You need to fix your body before God can use you. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Exodus 4:10-12 - 'I am not eloquent... I am slow of speech.' God's response? 'Who made your mouth? Now GO, and I WILL BE with your mouth.' God didn't wait for Moses to get speech therapy. He sent him AS IS and promised to supply what was needed. Your calling is NOW, your identity is COMPLETE, your Father's power works through willing vessels, not perfect ones. IT IS WRITTEN in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that His strength is made perfect in weakness.
