"I cheated my way through school. My achievements are fraudulent. I'm an imposter."
How it sounds in your head: I didn't actually earn these grades. I copied homework, used cheating apps, bought essays. Everyone thinks I'm smart, but I'm a fraud. If they knew the truth, everything would collapse.
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
-- 2 Corinthians 5:21Enemy using academic dishonesty to create imposter syndrome, making her believe foundation of fraud disqualifies her from legitimate success.
The cheating was systematic, not a one-time thing. She genuinely doesn't know the material everyone thinks she mastered. Her GPA is a lie. Scholarships and college acceptance feel undeserved.
Jacob DECEIVED his blind father, put on goat skins to impersonate his brother, and STOLE Esau's blessing through outright FRAUD. When Isaac discovered the deception, he trembled but declared, 'I have blessed him and he SHALL BE BLESSED.' The blessing stuck despite the fraud—and Jacob became ISRAEL, father of the twelve tribes.
I REFUSE the lie that my academic dishonesty disqualifies me from God's blessing. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the righteousness of God in Christ—a righteousness I didn't EARN, just like Jacob's blessing he didn't earn legitimately. The BARAK blessing protected Jacob THE DECEIVER and made him prosperous despite his fraud. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 11:29, 'The gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE'—He doesn't take back what He's spoken over me because of my methods. I am not an imposter in Christ; I am a DAUGHTER, and His grace writes my credentials. My future is LEGITIMATE because HE says so.
The Father isn't auditing your homework history. He's running toward you with the RING of authority and the ROBE of righteousness you didn't earn—because the whole point of the gospel is receiving what you DON'T deserve. That's grace, and it makes you legitimate NOW.
