"God is waiting for me to get off medications before He'll heal me supernaturally."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe my prescriptions are blocking God's miracle. If I truly expected His healing, wouldn't I act on it by stopping the pills? Perhaps God can't work while I'm dependent on medicine.
"Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.'"
-- Numbers 21:8Religion taught that human effort blocks God's power, making medication an obstacle instead of temporary provision.
Faith teaching often demands 'stepping out' by abandoning support systems to prove trust. At her age, she wonders if years of medication have delayed God's supernatural healing because she hasn't shown enough faith to quit them.
Naaman wanted instant supernatural healing but God prescribed washing in a river seven times—a physical, repeated action. His healing came through OBEYING the natural method God prescribed, not by abandoning it to prove faith—the METHOD was part of God's miracle.
I REFUSE the lie that medication blocks God's miracles. IT IS WRITTEN that God prescribed a bronze serpent on a pole for healing—a physical object combined with faith. Naaman was healed through river-washing God commanded, not despite it. My medications are provisions from God's wisdom while I walk in healing truth. IT IS WRITTEN in Numbers 21:8 that God uses tangible means for healing. God isn't waiting for me to abandon prescriptions—He's working IN and THROUGH them. The BARAK blessing includes healing through every means God provides.
Your Father isn't watching your pill bottle to decide if you're worthy of miracles. He's running toward you with healing in EVERY form—sometimes instant, sometimes through medication, sometimes both simultaneously—because the METHOD doesn't determine His love or power; His NATURE does.
