"God gave me this condition to teach me something, so taking medicine fights His purpose."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe this sickness is God's classroom and I'm supposed to suffer through it. Taking medication might be bypassing what He's trying to accomplish. What if I miss the lesson He's teaching?
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
-- Acts 10:38Religion portrays God as divine torturer who authors disease for spiritual education.
You've heard testimonies where people found God through suffering, and religious voices say trials build character. You fear cutting short God's mysterious plan by seeking relief.
A woman was bent over for eighteen years, and religious leaders said she should wait until after the Sabbath for healing. Jesus called her forward IMMEDIATELY, said Satan had bound her, and she was instantly made straight - no waiting, no lessons through suffering.
I REFUSE the lie that God authors sickness to teach me. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who were oppressed by the devil because sickness is OPPRESSION, not instruction. My Father teaches through His Word, not disease. Every condition attacking my body is from the enemy, and IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus came to destroy the devil's works. I am Abraham's seed, heir to the BLESSING not the curse. The blessing includes health, and I receive EVERY provision - medicine, prayer, wisdom - without fear of missing some twisted lesson.
Your Father is running toward you saying 'I'm not the one who made you sick - I'm the One who wants you WELL!' He's not hiding lessons in diseases. He's offering freedom through every avenue: supernatural healing, medical wisdom, or both together.
