"Everyone eventually betrays you—it's just a matter of time."
How it sounds in your head: You've watched it happen over and over. The friend who ghosted you. The spouse who chose addiction. The business partner who lied. There's a pattern here, and you're the common denominator. No one stays loyal.
"He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
-- Hebrews 13:5Generational curse of abandonment being projected onto future relationships as inevitable fate.
The evidence feels overwhelming—multiple betrayals across decades create a convincing pattern. At this stage of life, you've seen enough divorces, broken friendships, and family fractures to believe loyalty is a myth.
After Naomi's husband and sons died, leaving her bitter and betrayed by life, Ruth INSTANTLY covenanted with unshakable loyalty: 'Where you go I will go.' One woman's covenant-keeping loyalty broke the curse of abandonment and brought Naomi from bitter to blessed in one season.
I REFUSE the lie that everyone eventually betrays. IT IS WRITTEN that my God will NEVER leave me nor forsake me—His faithfulness is the pattern I inherit. Past betrayals were not prophecies of my future; they were enemies of my destiny being removed. My Father is covenant-keeping, and He surrounds me with people who reflect that nature. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 37:25 that He has never seen the righteous forsaken. I am the righteousness of God in Christ—abandonment is not my portion. The BARAK blessing includes faithful friendships and loyal relationships.
Your Father is removing the disloyal to make room for the covenant-keepers He's been preparing. He's not punishing you with isolation—He's protecting you from counterfeits while positioning the real ones, and they're about to arrive.
