Too Old
"You're too young to be used by God. Wait until you're older and more qualified."

How it sounds in your head: You're just a kid. Adults don't take you seriously. God needs mature, experienced people, not someone who still lives with their parents. Your youth disqualifies you from anything important.

1 Timothy 4:12

"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

-- 1 Timothy 4:12
Enemy whispers: 'You're too young to matter.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 1 Timothy 4:12 - 'Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.' God doesn't say 'wait until you're older.' He says LET NO ONE—including that voice in your head—despise your youth. You are an example NOW.
Quick Truth: LIE: Too young to be used. TRUTH: God bypassed the old priest for the young boy (1 Sam 3:10). Age is irrelevant to anointing.

Source: Religious hierarchy that elevates age over anointing, echoing Eli's system that dismissed young Samuel.

Why this feels true:

Every room separates kids from adults. Youth group is separated from 'real' church, proving age creates barriers. Nobody asks your opinion on important matters because you're 'just a teen.'

1 Samuel 3:1-10
Samuel

Samuel was a CHILD sleeping in the temple when God bypassed the experienced priest Eli and spoke directly to him. One encounter with God's voice launched a prophetic ministry that judged the entire religious system—while he was still young.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my age disqualifies me from God's purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that I should let no one despise my youth, because God chose me before the foundation of the world. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to the promise, and the BARAK blessing rests on me NOW, not when I turn 25. IT IS WRITTEN that God is no respecter of persons—He doesn't have age requirements. I am anointed, appointed, and activated TODAY. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me at 14 the same way He would at 40.

But God actually:

The Father isn't waiting for you to graduate, get a degree, or gain experience. He's running toward you RIGHT NOW, robe and ring in hand, ready to throw you a party and announce to heaven: 'This is my beloved child in whom I am well pleased.'
