"Your son is too far gone for God to reach him now."
How it sounds in your head: He's not just partying - he's dealing drugs, and you heard he's getting a face tattoo of a demon. Every month it gets worse, and you're watching the news stories about overdoses thinking that could be him. At some point, doesn't someone cross a line God won't cross back over?
"Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her."
-- Hosea 2:14Source: Enemy's lie that grace has limits and some prodigals wander beyond the Father's reach, contradicting the shepherd who leaves 99 for 1.
The descent has been so extreme and fast that it feels like momentum you can't reverse. His friends are all in the same darkness, and you can't see any crack of light in his life anymore.
Manasseh practiced witchcraft, consulted mediums, sacrificed his own sons in fire, and set up idols in God's temple - then cried out from Assyrian prison and God heard him, restored him to Jerusalem, and he turned to God. From child sacrifice to restoration in one prayer.
I REFUSE the lie that my son is beyond God's reach. IT IS WRITTEN that God allures wanderers from the wilderness and speaks COMFORT, not condemnation. No drug is stronger than the blood, no demon more powerful than the name of Jesus, no distance farther than the Father's arm. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:38-39 that NOTHING can separate him from God's love - not drugs, not demons, not face tattoos, NOTHING. I declare the same God who heard Manasseh the child-sacrificer hears my son TODAY, and breakthrough is not contingent on how far he's fallen but on how good God is.
The Father is already in the drug house, already in the jail cell, already in the psychiatric ward - wherever your son is, God got there first and is whispering 'Come home' in ways you can't see yet. The robe is ready, and the distance doesn't intimidate Him.
