"Your body's decline means God is done using you. Physical weakness equals spiritual irrelevance."
How it sounds in your head: You can't do what you used to do physically, so obviously God needs someone stronger. Ministry requires energy you don't have. Your limitations disqualify you from Kingdom impact. Younger, healthier people are more useful.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.'"
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Religious lie that equates physical strength with spiritual authority and usefulness to God.
You tire easily now. You can't travel like you used to. You need naps. Your body sets boundaries you can't push through anymore. Ministry opportunities go to people with more energy and stamina.
Moses was 120 years old when he died, and Scripture specifically says 'his eyes were not dim nor his natural force diminished.' He maintained full strength until his assignment was complete—age didn't diminish his usefulness to God.
I REFUSE the lie that physical decline equals spiritual irrelevance. IT IS WRITTEN that His strength is made PERFECT in my weakness. My body's limitations showcase HIS power, not my uselessness. IT IS WRITTEN that Moses at 120 had undiminished force, and I have the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead living IN ME (Rom 8:11). I am a treasure in an earthen vessel so the excellence of power is clearly God's, not mine. The BARAK blessing includes strength and God-sustained energy for every assignment He releases.
The Father isn't benching you because your body's slowing—He's showcasing His strength through your weakness. The same power that kept Moses strong at 120 dwells in you, and He sustains you for every single assignment He's given you.
