"Women's bodies are cursed to pain—menstruation, childbirth, menopause prove suffering is God's design for us."
How it sounds in your head: You've endured cramps, childbirth agony, now hot flashes and night sweats. Every female transition involved pain. The Bible says Eve's curse was pain in childbirth—maybe female suffering IS God's will.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree')."
-- Galatians 3:13Religion: Misinterpretation of Genesis 3 that turns a consequence of the Fall into God's permanent design for women, baptizing female suffering as divine intention.
Every woman you know has suffered physically—periods, pregnancies, hormones. Doctors dismiss women's pain as 'normal.' The Bible's words in Genesis 3:16 seem to confirm this is God's plan for females.
This woman had a spirit of infirmity for EIGHTEEN YEARS—couldn't straighten up, chronic pain, debilitating limitation. Jesus saw her, called her 'daughter of Abraham,' laid hands on her, and IMMEDIATELY she was made straight and glorified God. Eighteen years of female suffering ended in ONE MOMENT.
I REFUSE the lie that women's bodies are cursed to pain. IT IS WRITTEN: Christ has redeemed us from the curse—that includes Eve's curse, that includes MY body. I am not designed for suffering; I am designed for GLORY. I am a branch attached to the Vine—the same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in my female body and gives it LIFE. IT IS WRITTEN: He called the suffering woman 'daughter of Abraham' and LOOSED her. I am Abraham's seed through Christ—the BARAK blessing is MINE, and it covered women too. Sarah received strength to conceive past age. The Shunammite woman's dead son was raised. God's design for women is BLESSING, not curse. My hormones, my cycles, my body are under covenant GRACE, not Genesis 3 curse. The curse was BROKEN at the cross.
The Father isn't looking at your female body as perpetually cursed—He's looking at you as His DAUGHTER, redeemed, restored, crowned with glory and honor. He's running toward you like He ran to the prodigal, not to explain why women must suffer but to heal every place the enemy has stolen your strength. He's the Father who called the bent-over woman 'daughter' and IMMEDIATELY straightened her spine—and He's celebrating YOUR body coming into alignment with His original design.
