"Tithing and giving will unlock God's provision; if I'm struggling, I'm not giving enough."
How it sounds in your head: Malachi 3:10—'Test Me in this.' Maybe you're not tithing on the gross. Maybe you need to sow a bigger seed. The lack must mean you're holding back somewhere. Give more, get more.
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."
-- 2 Corinthians 9:8Religion turned the tithe into a LAW to manipulate giving, ignoring that we're not under Law but under Grace and cheerful giving.
You've heard the testimonies of people who tithed their way out of lack. The formula feels biblical: give, then receive. The struggle must mean you're not giving enough or giving with the right heart.
The widow gave two mites—all she had. Jesus commended her HEART, not as a formula. She didn't give to unlock provision; she gave FROM TRUST. God doesn't withhold from those who have little to give.
I REFUSE the lie that I must give more to unlock God's provision. IT IS WRITTEN that God makes ALL grace abound toward me so I ALWAYS have ALL sufficiency in ALL things. Provision is based on HIS GRACE, not my giving percentage. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out—the BARAK blessing is mine by covenant, not by tithe performance. I give cheerfully, not manipulatively.
The Father isn't withholding blessing until you hit a giving threshold—He's already given you EVERYTHING in Christ. The robe, ring, and sandals weren't earned by the prodigal's offerings; they were given because of the Father's HEART.
