"My financial struggle is a test from God to build my character and dependence on Him."
How it sounds in your head: I tell myself this lack is growing me, that God is teaching me something through not having enough. Like if I learn the lesson, THEN He'll release provision. So I stay stuck, trying to figure out what He's trying to teach me.
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-- James 1:17Source: Religion making God the AUTHOR of poverty instead of the REDEEMER from poverty, confusing testing with the enemy's attack.
She's been taught that struggle is spiritual formation, so poverty feels purposeful instead of what Christ redeemed her FROM. It gives suffering meaning instead of exposing it as a curse.
Job lost everything, but God didn't leave him in poverty to build character—He RESTORED double everything Job lost. The END was greater abundance, not learned lessons in lack, proving God's heart is INCREASE, not deprivation.
I REFUSE the lie that poverty is God's character-building tool. IT IS WRITTEN: James 1:17 - 'EVERY GOOD GIFT is from above.' Poverty is a CURSE under Deuteronomy 28, and Christ redeemed me from the curse. Job didn't end in lack; God gave him DOUBLE. IT IS WRITTEN: Galatians 3:13-14 - 'Christ redeemed me from the curse that the blessing of Abraham might come upon me.' My struggle isn't from God; it's FROM the enemy, and I'm redeemed FROM it. The BARAK blessing is mine NOW, and my Father's nature is ABUNDANCE, not deprivation.
Your Father isn't withholding to build you—He's been grieved BY your lack and ready to END it. The prodigal's father didn't lecture him into maturity; he threw a PARTY and restored him FULLY, immediately.
