"The world is collapsing so there's no point building a career or future."
How it sounds in your head: Why am I grinding at this job when everything's falling apart? My parents' generation had stability, but we're heading for collapse. Maybe I should just coast and wait for Jesus to return instead of trying to build something that won't last.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Every news cycle screams crisis—economic collapse, wars, rumors of wars. Friends are doom-scrolling and half your feed is preppers or prophecy teachers saying we're in the final countdown.
God told exiles in enemy territory to build houses, plant gardens, marry, and multiply—not just survive but THRIVE in Babylon. They thought it was over, but God had a 70-year plan and then restoration beyond imagination.
I REFUSE the lie that the world is ending so my future is pointless. IT IS WRITTEN that God has thoughts of peace toward me, to give me a FUTURE and a HOPE. The same God who told exiles to build in Babylon tells me to build NOW. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28 that I am blessed coming in and going out, the head and not the tail. I am Abraham's seed by covenant, and the BARAK blessing protects my future regardless of headlines. I build, I create, I advance—because my God has plans.
The Father isn't wringing His hands over news cycles—He's running toward you with blueprints for your future. While religion says 'hunker down and wait,' the Father says 'build, beloved, I've already gone ahead of you and prepared the way.'
