"I missed God's timing so now I'm stuck waiting for Jesus to fix everything"
How it sounds in your head: I should have started that business at 30. Should have pursued that ministry at 40. Now I'm 60-something and the window closed. All I can do is wait for heaven where I'll finally get it right.
"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 3:13-14Condemnation for past missed opportunities combined with false belief that God's plans have expiration dates.
She can list every door she didn't walk through, every prompting she ignored, and at 60+ it feels too late to recover. Friends who obeyed earlier seem blessed while she feels stuck in consequences of delay.
Moses was 80 years old when God sent him to confront Pharaoh—FORTY YEARS after his first attempt failed spectacularly. God didn't say 'too late'—He said 'NOW.' The greatest deliverance in Israel's history was led by an octogenarian who missed the timing decades earlier.
I REFUSE the lie that missed timing cancels my destiny. IT IS WRITTEN that I forget what is behind and reach forward to what is ahead. God restores the years the locust ate; no delay is too long for Him. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO CONDEMNATION to those in Christ Jesus. Moses led at 80. Caleb took mountains at 85. I am Abraham's seed; the BARAK doesn't expire. My assignments are NOT cancelled—they're PERFECTED by His timing, not ruined by mine. The Father runs toward me with fresh scrolls, not old regrets. I press forward into NEW things, not stuck things.
The Father isn't marking you late—He's running toward you saying 'NOW is perfect timing.' While religion keeps score of missed opportunities, He's handing you the robe that says 'DAUGHTER' and the ring that says 'AUTHORITY' and throwing a party for your NOW obedience.
