"It's too late for me to make any difference now"
How it sounds in your head: You're 87 years old, body failing, limited mobility. The productive years are gone. All you can do is exist until death. Making an impact? That ship sailed decades ago. You're irrelevant now.
"They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing."
-- Psalm 92:14World's lie that value equals productivity and youth, denying God's purpose spans every breath
Your physical limitations are real and increasing. Society venerates youth and productivity while warehousing the elderly. You feel invisible.
Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet Scripture says 'his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated'—after leading a nation for 40 years starting at age 80. His greatest impact came in decades you've already lived past retirement.
I REFUSE the lie that my age disqualifies me from Kingdom impact. IT IS WRITTEN I shall STILL bring forth fruit in old age—fat and flourishing, not withering and irrelevant. I am a branch abiding in the Vine; as long as I'm connected, fruit is AUTOMATIC regardless of my age or strength. Moses started at 80. Caleb conquered at 85. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus—my value isn't tied to productivity metrics. The BARAK blessing doesn't retire at 65. I am blessed coming in and going out, in this season as much as any other. My prayers carry weight, my witness carries authority, my presence carries blessing. I am not done—I am STILL fruitful.
Your Father isn't checking your birth certificate to determine if you're useable—He's checking your connection to the Vine, and you're IN. He's running toward you with assignments tailored for THIS season, not wishing you were 40 again.
